My background as a Producer:

I started self-producing my own work at a DIY/Fringe scale 14+ years ago, and then moved into a Creative Producer Role. I have produced theatre shows and live events across the UK and Ireland. 

Most recently I worked at The Belfast Ensemble as Creative Producer (freelance) for their esteemed concert production of The Necklace at Lyric Theatre, Belfast.

Previously I worked for 2.5 years for Tinderbox Theatre Company.  In my time there I produced 10+ shows and festivals, with big and small budgets, and a lot of success (plus lots of learning!). I am very proud that the company’s show Rhino won BEST REVIVAL at the UK Theatre Awards in 2024.

What can a producer do for you?

I can guide you through projects from idea to fruition. I can work with you to get the right people in the right places, I can do the admin so you can focus on being an artist and work with you and marketing experts to create strategies to get audiences in. I can work from first reading, into production, right through to opening night.

I don’t have a huge amount of capacity for fundraising - especially not unpaid. Nor am I the kind of Producer who can invest in your show (sadly I don’t have that kind of money lying about!).
